Teddy Roosevelt dies

Today this happened in the past—January 6, 1919

Teddy Roosevelt dies, the 26th president of the United States

Roosevelt died suddenly at 60 years of age at his estate. The reasons given for his death were coronary embolism (assumed) and inflammatory rheumatism which he had suffered from for several years. Roosevelt also contracted several diseases during his life traveling throughout the world that he never fully recovered from.

Below are some images of Mr. Roosevelt throughout his fascinating life.
